Works under the guidance of the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Academics and Director of Compliance, assisting in all aspects of compliance work concerning the interpretation and enforcement of NCAA rules and regulations. Updates manuals and forms. Educates coaches and others to include institutional staff, enrolled cadets, and members of the West Point staff and Army West Point Athletics on compliance and academic requirements. Tracks transfer eligibility and coordinates with other institutions regarding permission to contact. Submits or assists in submitting required reports (e.g., Graduation Success Rate, Academic Performance Rate, Membership Requirements, Sport Sponsorship). Assists in the coordination of the declaration of playing and practice seasons. Maintains athletic rosters, NCAA squad lists and cadet-athlete files. Monitors Eligibility Center status to include both academics and amateurism. Tracks the completion and submission of logs concerning recruiting and countable athletics activity. Coordinates annual testing program in accordance with NCAA requirements related to recruiting off campus. Assists in managing all aspects of official and unofficial visits to include approval, maintenance of pass list, and management of related expenses.
