Kansas Athletics, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for a Director or Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance. This position will work closely with the Senior Associate AD for Compliance and Student Services. This position will serve as point of contact for the Kansas Athletics Football program on behalf of the Compliance and Student Services department. Serve as Compliance team member based with football; Provide accurate interpretations to a diverse group including: students, parents, coaches, administrators, and community regarding NCAA and Big 12 rules; Monitor all facets of NCAA rules pertaining to the sport of football; Provide comprehensive football education program to a diverse group including: students, parents, coaches, administrators, and community; and more. Travel will be required.
Please note, based on experience the title of this position may be enhanced to the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance, Football.
Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university;
Minimum five years Division I FBS Compliance experience or NCAA National Office compliance experience in Enforcement or AMA;
Strong computer knowledge; demonstrated knowledge of Legislative Services Database internet (LSDBi);
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a diverse group including: students, parents, coaches, and administrators in a professional manner.
Two years of NCAA Compliance full-time employment at a Division I autonomy institution.
Extensive exposure to Division I Football NCAA rules
