The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the position of Associate Commissioner. Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Oversight in the development and management of a comprehensive compliance program including enforcement of NCAA and GLIAC rules. *Provide interpretations of NCAA and GLIAC rules and regulations. * Conduct campus compliance reviews, educational seminars and meetings, * Coordinate conference SAAC efforts with regular meetings and yearly retreat. * Coordinate the National Letter of Intent program. *Assist with negotiating and securing agreements for meeting space and hotel arrangements for various conference meetings and championships. *Serve as conference liaison/administrator for multiple GLIAC Championship sports and for certain standing committees. *Coordinate campus compliance reviews and education. *Participate in CCACA conference calls and yearly in-person meeting.
A successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and NCAA compliance background.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was established in 1972. The conference has 12 members with universities located in Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Indiana. The conference sponsors 21 mens and womens sports.
