We are seeking a highly motivated and fun-loving individual who has a passion for collegiate athletics and enjoys inviting people to events and providing good entertainment. The Director of Marketing & Digital Media will have growing responsibilities that include game management, creation and supervision of in-game and special event promotions plus planning, designing, and execution of programs to build campus awareness, community outreach and the overall game-day environment.
Additionally, the Director of Marketing & Digital Media will oversee the creation of collateral materials, manage social media content and assist with other assigned duties. The successful candidate will provide creativity in growing NSU’s brand and expanding its reach through innovative and traditional marketing methods designed to bolster attendance and ticket sales.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates are preferred to have some experience working in athletic marketing/events on a college campus, but experience in other areas of the entertainment industry will be considered. Experience with Photoshop, graphic design and social media is a must. Superior customer service, creativity, prioritization and organization skills are pluses. Experience with Daktronics, video filming/editing, and a good sense of humor are also good things.
