The Head Coach for Women's Swimming & Diving, Aquatics Director is responsible for implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving program at DePauw University. This includes recruiting quality student-athletes, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, scouting, coaching, scheduling, budgeting and planning team travel in compliance with University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. The Head Coach provides leadership in the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes.
This individual will also serve as the Aquatics Director, providing training for and staffing the Erdmann Natatorium, and running the learn-to-swim program.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of recent, related coaching experience required. Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Google Apps, other programs as determined by specific sport responsibilities; use of Hytek meet management and team management software. A valid US driver's license is required. Must hold current Lifeguard certification (which includes CPR/AED/FA). Preferred lifeguard instructor certified.
