Northern State is accepting applications for a full-time assistant women's soccer coach. Primary duties include on-field coaching and training and recruiting elite student-athletes. The assistant coach will assist with all aspects of a NCAA Division II women's soccer program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with scouting, recruiting, coaching, practice and game scheduling, and the administration of team budgets; promoting/working NSU summer camps; developing and maintaining effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the community; knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, NSIC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes; performing other duties as assigned.
Preferred candidate will have experience with video editing, game analysis, graphic design, and creating/managing new technology (e.g., social media, video highlights). Preference will also be given to those who can work with goalkeepers.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Minimum of three (3) years playing and/or coaching experience is required. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Preferred candidate will have a minimum of a USSF D, or NSCAA National Diploma. Strong communication and organizational skills required. This position is being partly funded through the NCAA Coaching Enhancement Grant, thus the selected candidate must identify as an ethnic minority and/or a woman.
