K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SALES, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
An example of job responsibilities:
SALES: Sell new season tickets, mini-plans, single game and group tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball and soccer by cultivating relationships with businesses, campus departments, community organizations, youth groups, etc.
OUTBOUND SALES STAFF: Manage outbound sales team which includes recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and professional development; develop a sales calendar, campaign and strategies; manage department’s CRM (SalesForce).
PLANNING: Assist with development of ticket packages and pricing for all six ticketed sports, bringing in new and innovative ideas that generate revenue and increase attendance.
We are looking for an outgoing person who is passionate about collegiate athletics and wants to become a member of our sales staff to help advance ticket sales by cultivating new outside sales relationships and creating new and innovative ideas that generate increased attendance and ticket revenue.

Bachelor’s Degree at time of application
Minimum of two years of sales experience
One year of outbound ticket sales experience in collegiate or professional sports
Paciolan system experience
Existing business relationships in the Manhattan, Kansas, area
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, which includes most K-State home games and events; and must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
This position holds expectations of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, Inc. rules and regulations.
