Illinois State University, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference, is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Director of Redbird Video Productions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing all operations of the video services department; producing video scoreboard graphics, features and activities displayed during home basketball, football, and volleyball contests. Directing live broadcasts to air on video boards; working with the Athletics staff to create marketing, publicity, highlight, banquet and other feature videos.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in live television directing or comparable experience in athletic video board operation, production and direction at a professional or collegiate program; two (2) to four (4) years’ editing experience in linear and non-linear formats; availability to work nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to meet short deadlines; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment; function in accordance with all NCAA, MVC and University rules and regulations.
