The Head Coach for Acrobatics and Tumbling under the direction of the Athletic Director, is responsible for but are not limited to, recruiting qualified student athletes, monitoring academic success and progress toward degree, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual program development, and approved fund raising events. The successful candidate must fulfill these duties while adhering to all guidelines as set forth by athletic department, Lander University, NCAA, Peach Belt Conference, and affiliated conference membership for acrobatics and tumbling.
Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of acrobatics and tumbling practices and procedures. Must have at least one year of coaching experience at the collegiate level or club level. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Knowledge and understanding of coaching, recruiting and program administration required. Knowledge of NCAA and Acrobatic and Tumbling rules and regulations required.
