The Texas State University Athletic Department is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Sports Information Director.
The Assistant will create sport-related publications, including graphics and copy, for distribution to media and other constituents; provide creative input to enhance the athletic department’s web site; serve as media relations contact and provide statistical coverage for assigned sports; write press releases; supervise student workers during coverage of home events; and other duties as assigned.

Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration to applicants who possess a Masters degree
Previous experience working in a college sports information office as a full-time staff member with direct sport responsibilities
Knowledge and inputting of stat crew software
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites 6
Knowledge of video production
