The position serves as the lead provider of in-house video content for North Florida Athletics across multiple platforms, including but not limited to: -Producing video content to be used in social media platforms, on Athletics’ website, on videoboard systems, and other platforms promoting UNF Athletics and student-athletes -Producing the year-end highlight videos for the annual Student Athlete Banquet and other special occasions -Producing all video content for videoboard systems, including intro videos, hype videos, and other operational needs -Distribution and storage of video files; maintaining an organized archive of videos -Managing staff and interns used to acquire video files, edit video files, and produce promotional material -Researching and acquiring new production equipment within appropriated budget
The position manages the operations and staffing associated with ESPN3, ESPN+, and other event streaming applications, including, but not limited to: -Assisting with the scheduling of the crew for all broadcasted events -Overseeing the production crew at assigned events -Assisting with system updates, graphic creation, video archiving, and other duties associated with the ESPN3 control room
The position is responsible for the operations of all videoboards located at UNF Athletic Facilities, including but not limited to: -Creating the content that will appear on the videoboards -Managing operations of the videoboards during events, including non-athletic events -Scheduling and managing the staff associated with running the videoboards during events -Serving as the liaison with Nevco regarding maintenance needs and software updates
The position also provides graphic design support to the Marketing and Communications Offices, including but not limited to the following platforms: -Any team and department promotional items -Advertisements for ticket sales for various sports -Social media outlets -Championship banners and displays at Athletic facilities -Graphics for use on miscellaneous digital signage, such as billboards and TVs in UNF Arena -Assists with coordination of social media
A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a directly related area of specialization; or a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of experience directly related to the job functions.
