Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach of Men's Basketball at Saint Michael's College, a NCAA Division II institution and member of the Northeast-10 Conference, located in greater Burlington, Vermont.
Administrative duties include some event management in the fall and/or spring seasons.
Coaching responsibilities include: •Directing all aspects of the coaching and management of the men's basketball program •Recruiting and scouting •Coaching in games and practices •Manage the team strength and conditioning program. •Budget management, fundraising, and alumni development. •Supporting the academic and personal development of all athletes. •Supervising a full-time assistant coach. •Visible, meaningfully engaged member of the College community. •Visible representative for the College and Purple Knights basketball in the greater Burlington community.

Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
A minimum of five years of successful coaching experience at the collegiate (or higher) level.
Strong preference for NCAA collegiate basketball coaching experience, particularly as a head coach.
Proven commitment to the holistic development of the student-athlete and the mission of the College.
High level of personal integrity.
Outstanding work ethic.
Knowledge of and commitment to adhering to NCAA rules and regulations.
Demonstrated success in recruitment; recruiting scholarship student-athletes highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to inspire student-athletes to develop to their fullest potential.
Outstanding skills in oral and written communication,
Strong organizational ability and computer competency.
Must have a valid driver's license, and sustain certification in CPR and First Aid.
Must legally be able to work in the United States.
