This position will report to and assists the Head Coach with all aspects of the women’s softball program. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to player skill development and developing training programs. Scouts and recruits athletically and academically qualified student-athletes and maintains a recruiting database to document student-athlete recruitment and development. Organizes and makes travel arrangements, including monitoring travel budgets and equipment transports. Monitors student-athletes academic performance and assists them in the pursuit of their athletic and academic success. Schedules summer camps and organizes various program fundraising and community service activities. Maintains parent and alumni contact. Markets softball events through various social media. Develops team policies and procedures and ensures that athletes adhere to university, conference (WAC) and collegiate (NCAA) rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three years of coaching experience at the Division I or Division II level.
Collegiate and/or international playing experience is preferred. Pitching experience is preferred.
