The Orange County Tennis Service Representative (TSR) is a member of the USTA Southern California Section sales force and is the front-line field representative in the Orange County area of SoCal. The TSR will work from a home office and travel in his/her geographic territory daily conducting personal sales calls to tennis facilities and prospective program providers in order to increase USTA programs at the adult, junior and youth levels, and to sustain existing USTA programs. The primary duty of the TSR is to increase engagement in their territory in the sport of tennis through USTA membership-based programming.
Increasing engagement in USTA membership-based programming
Helping implement and sustain existing USTA membership-based programming
Growing USTA membership in the Orange County/LA areas
Working with Tennis Professionals, Volunteers, Park & Rec, CTA’s, facilities and others to support USTA membership-based programming
Promote and run on-court Play Events as needed.
Support all Net Generation programs, including elementary, middle and high school programming
Work with tennis facilities, public and private, to open more courts to USTA membership-based programs.
Know and understand every facility in Orange County / LA and whether it is working with USTA membership-based programming.
Proven knowledge of USTA adult, junior and youth programs (Adult leagues, tournaments, Net Generation youth tennis programs, Junior Team Tennis and more)
Previous experience managing and working tennis events
Ability to travel in your section daily in reliable car; Valid CA Driver’s license required
Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
Highly motivated, strong organizational skills, relationship management skills, enthusiasm, optimism, and a team player
Other Details: This is a full-time position. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan, paid vacation, paid parking and laptop. Base salary commensurate with experience.
SafePlay background check and completion of SafeSport training required. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is a must. Our offices are located on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.
