The Head Baseball Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the baseball program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA.

Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree. • Five years Division I collegiate or professional baseball coaching experience. • Proven success at developing student-athletes and providing a positive student-athlete experience.
Professional Competencies • Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills. • Knowledge of NCAA rules and interpretations. • The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds. • Demonstrated dedication to the full academic and social development of student-athletes.
Preferred Qualifications • Head baseball coaching experience at the Division I collegiate level. • Experience as a Division I student-athlete. • Proven competitive success within an NCAA collegiate, Division I post-season baseball team.
