The graduate assistant position for volleyball will assist with the overall daily program operations for the UTM Volleyball and Beach volleyball teams. The desired individual will handle a combination of administrative duties as well as on court skill instruction. Travel is required.
Responsibilities: Organize team travel; schedule practice facilities home/away; oversee daily video editing and statistical needs; assist in arranging official and unofficial visits; coordinate summer camps; coordinate community service projects; assist with conference film exchange; oversee athlete study table; liaison with sports marketing; director of team social media content; assist with practice and game day operations; skill instruction; assist with budget development; other duties assigned by coach.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Acceptance into UTM Graduate School. Strong communications skills; demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment; demonstrated commitment to adhering to all policies, rules and regulations of the University, The Ohio Valley Conference and the NCAA required. Preferred qualifications: Some related administrative and program experience, knowledge of the sport of collegiate volleyball and some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations; NCAA division I or II coaching or playing experience; preference will be given to candidates that can most effectively meet the needs of the women’s volleyball program.
