Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time Assistant Coach, Women’s Volleyball. The Assistant Coach is directly responsible to the Head Coach, Women’s Volleyball to assist with aspects of a Division I volleyball program. The Assistant Coach will assist with recruiting qualified student-athletes, operate within volleyball budget, schedule games with other intercollegiate teams, oversee conditioning and training programs, practices, and competitions, conduct on-campus clinics and summer camps.
The successful candidate must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the NEC, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidate must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is preferred. Intercollegiate volleyball playing and coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of scouting software (volleymetrics and datavolley), recruiting software (university athlete and jumpforward) preferred. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and Google Suite’s is preferred.
