LONG BEACH STATE ATHLETICS invites applications for an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with developing and supervising the student-athletes in the Men's Volleyball program; assisting with organizing, conducting, and supervising all practices and matches; assisting with recruiting quality student-athletes under the guidelines established by the University, NCAA, and the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) the Golden Coast Conference, and/or the Big West Conference; assisting with scheduling nationally competitive teams in conjunction with the Head Coach; assisting with budgetary responsibilities including recruitment, team travel, and equipment; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; and participating in community fund-raising efforts and public relations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree; prior athletic participation in women's and/or men's volleyball; and demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of and adherence to NCAA rules and regulations; experience in women's and/or men's volleyball as a player or coach at the college level; demonstrated ablity to assist with coaching and recruiting quality student-athletes, public relations skills; excellent intrpersonal and communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.
