The Graduate Assistant Coach reports to and is supervised by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and assists the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach, as directed by:
•Planning and implementing practice sessions; •Providing input and other coaching related duties for home and away games and events; •Recruiting qualified, prospective student-athletes as allowed by NCAA rules (NCAA Recruiting Test must be passed); •Analyzing video of ourselves and opponents; •Making team travel arrangements, such as transportation, hotels, and meals; •Planning and implementing camps and clinics in the respective sport; •Assisting with the planning and implementation of departmental development and marketing events and activities; •Assisting with the oversight of the student-athletes academic achievement; •Assisting with planning and implementation of community service activities; •Assisting with game and event scheduling with opponents; and •Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and/or Athletic Director.
ACADEMIC/PROF. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS TO BE DERIVED FROM EXPERIENCE
•Preference will be given to candidates with a goalkeeping background •USC or USSF diplomas/licenses are a plus •Prior coaching experience is a plus

Must be accepted into a graduate program at Montana State University Billings;
Must be in good standing academically at MSUB and enroll in at least 9 credits per semester as well as meet and maintain all graduate program requirements;
Collegiate soccer playing experience preferred;
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment;
Ability to work with people in fast paced environment;
Must have thorough understanding of special demands of the athletic environment with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, athletic department staff, boosters, university administration, faculty, and surrounding community.
Additional Salary Information: $2,000 per semester stipend
