Nyack College, a member of NCAA DII and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, seeks a graduate assistant to work with the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in all aspects related to the operation of the Women's Lacrosse program. The graduate assistant must successfully enroll as a full-time graduate student in a qualifying program. The successful candidate must have made a profession of Faith in Christ and will align with the community standards of Nyack College.
Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes and assisting with all aspects of coaching, planning, and day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks, including matches and team practice, and a clean, valid Driver’s License is required. The candidate will be an essential employee in Nyack’s transition from its Rockland campus to our Jersey City Campus at the end of the Fall 2019 semester.
Each candidate must send a resume, cover letter and list of three references. A Pastor’s recommendation will be required as a part of the interview process.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated success and knowledge in playing Women's Lacrosse at the collegiate level; recruiting; strong knowledge of NCAA rules; and excellent communication and organizational skills.
