The Head Coach is responsible for the direction, instruction, supervision, and coaching of the Women’s Volleyball program and the oversight and development of assistant coaches. Responsibilities also include the overall administration of the program including, but not limited to, compliance with all NCAA regulations, adherence to the standards of the college, budget management, academic support, scheduling, and the recruitment of qualified student-athletes. The Head Coach reports to the Director of Athletics.
Maintain an acceptable roster of student athletes on the team
Administer all areas of practice activities, including but not limited to strength, conditioning and skill training
Plan and implement all player scouting and recruiting activities
Player Wellness: Promote positive team culture that manifests itself on and off the court
Foster academic success through discipline and accountability
Hire and oversee assistant coach(es) and/or graduate assistants as needed
Plan and manage all team travel
Organize and assist with fundraising efforts
Comply with NCAA regulations
Serve as Coach for each contest representing the college in a professional manner
Evening and weekend hours and overnight travel are required.
