The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Account Executive (Sales Associate) to work in the Athletic Ticket Office. This is a full-time position, hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package.
The successful candidate will be expected to help create new revenue opportunities and build relationships through the Bearcats Athletics network with the objective of achieving and exceeding season and yearly revenue goals established by management. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, energetic, motivated, fearless and service-oriented sales associate. Duties include but are not limited to:
Sell season tickets, mini plans, single game tickets, group tickets, and premium tickets via outbound phone calls, face-to-face appointments, game day sales, offsite events, and inbound calls, etc.
Renew season tickets from assigned account base and maximizing upgrade and new sales opportunities.
Serve as a dedicated account representative for season ticket holders.
Serve as the main point of contact for group sales.
Maintain and update accurate records of all activities and sales in ticketing database (Paciolan) and CRM system (Salesforce).
Utilize data for prospecting, generating leads, gathering referrals, etc.
Meet or exceed key performance indicators.
Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell tickets, especially premium seats.
Build and develop relationships to retain business and provide world-class customer service, including in-game visits and regular check-ins.
Collaborate with entities across the department and campus on various ticket initiatives including Young Alumni program and Faculty/Staff campaigns.
Work home games – various ticket sales and service duties required throughout games.
Provide auxiliary support in Ticket Operations across all ticketed sports and other outside events.
Minimum Qualifications include Bachelor degree with one year of experience; OR Associate degree with three years of experience; OR five years of experience. Experience must be in sales or related field.
