The Assistant Director of Game Production will assist in the creation and execution of game day video board operations for the University of Louisville Athletic Department. This includes creative concepting, production through use of the Adobe Creative Suite, and knowledge and understanding of video boards to load and execute the game day script. This position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director of Fan Experience. This posting will end the evening of Monday, May 27th.
Oversee game day production for Women's Basketball
Serve as game producer for Women's Basketball
Load content for LED videoboards at Cardinal Stadium and KFC Yum! Center
Work with Daktronics and ANC to troubleshoot technical issue
Run LED videoboards at Football
Create of graphics through Adobe Photoshop
Submit requests using InMotion system for videos and graphic templates
Direct communication with staff on field or court to run promotions and halftime
Assist with planning and execution of Car Wash media days for all sports
Script and plan game day events, which includes:
Creative brainstorming with marketing and game production for video and in-game atmosphere ideas
Assist with scripting and run of show production
Coordinate with assistant directors of Marketing for game day to provide all game production needs
Oversight of video board content and operation
Ensure video content is updated annually for all sports at all venues
Ideation and content execution for Learfield Partnership
Brainstorming engaging sponsor promotions for in-game
Ensure all Learfield sponsor content is approved, loaded and executed on game days
Communicate with Learfield staff on a regular basis for planning, brainstorming and execution
Assist with other special projects and events; Brainstorming, content creation, and production of Athletic Department special events
Bachelor's Degree in Sport Administration, Communications, or a related field and 2 years of experience in collegiate or professional sports which may include graduate assistant and/or internship experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including oral and written
Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends and other flexible schedules
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Grade EE Salary Minimum $47,476
Experience loading and running videoboard systems including Datronics Venus 7000 and Show Control, ANC VSoft, Crossfire Blaze, or other relevant systems
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.
