The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University is searching for a volunteer assistant women's gymnastics coach.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Acknowledge and understand the commitment as support staff vs. team member;
Assist in the organization and implementation of team training, practice sessions and home competitions; including but not restricted to moving mats, setting bars and setting/pulling spring boards;
Assist with the process of recruitment through email correspondence and unofficial/official visits;
Assist in planning of fund-raising and alumni relations activities;
Assist with facility and equipment management;
Participate in the development and implementation of the summer camp program;
Participate in all “Perfect 10 Boosters Club” activities
Assist with promotional aspects of marketing the program with marketing and through social media;
Demonstrate a sincere interest in the social, emotional, academic development as well as athletic welfare of the student-athletes;
Other duties as assigned by head coach
