Wagner College, a NCAA Division I member of the Northeast Conference, invites applications for a Graduate Assistant the sprints/hurdles and pole vault events groups for the Track Team.
Job Description- The successful candidates will assist in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to:
Assist with the organization and conduct multiple practices daily. Assist with recruiting and scouting of qualified student-athletes Assist with meet management for all home and away contests Complete and track CARA logs and community service logs Organize team bonding and keep up with a Wagner XC/TF social media presence. Other duties as assigned by the coaching staff. (miscellaneous)
Candidates must have the following: Bachelors degree from an accredited university Full time enrollment in graduate program A valid drivers license for the purpose of driving school issued and rental vehicles. Collegiate track and field and/or coaching experience (any level) Knowledge of conference and NCAA rules and regulations, and ability to pass NCAA recruiting exam Ability to effectively communicate through oral, written and electronic forms with recruits, current student-athletes and fellow coaches Ability to handle and maintain confidential information Great work ethic Be able to work with multiple personalities
Compensation includes Graduate School Tuition waiver, campus housing, and a meal plan.
