Westminster College (Utah) is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA II) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The Head Women’s Volleyball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the administration and management of the women’s volleyball program, including successful recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes, supervising and hiring assistant(s), budgeting, scheduling; organizing and supervising practices, student-athlete mentoring and welfare, event management assistance; ordering and maintenance of equipment, compliance with institutional, conference and national governing regulations; travel arrangements, assist with fundraising and outreach efforts for program. The head coach will also be expected to work closely with other staff to promote intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the college learning environment and support the academic success of student-athletes. In addition, candidate must demonstrate good communication, personal and public relation skills; exhibit the highest ethical standards, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment with high standards and goals. These responsibilities are expected to be performed in an ethical manner consistent with the mission of the College, vision and values which include diversity, equity and inclusion.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Schedule outside normal business hours. This position requires an irregular work schedule including days, nights, weekends and travel.
Bachelor's degree, Master’s preferred
Demonstrate a record of success in coaching volleyball and recruiting student athletes at the collegiate level preferred
Ability to work independently

Ability to create a positive atmosphere conducive to learning
