Hamilton College is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Rowing and Instructor/Assistant Professor of Physical Education to begin during the Spring, 2019 semester. Responsibilities of this full-time faculty position include directing all aspects of the men’s and women’s rowing programs: coaching, recruitment, hiring and supervision of assistant coaches, scheduling, budget and roster management, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and travel planning. In addition to coaching, responsibilities include teaching classes in the Physical Education program and completing administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Director.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations. Your cover letter should address the ways in which you would further the College's goal of building a diverse educational environment. Qualifications will determine faculty rank. Bachelor's degree required; Master's or other terminal degree in hand or to be completed within 3 years. Successful college coaching experience is strongly preferred.
