In partnership with Spectrum Health, this job will include oversight of the strength and conditioning program at Davenport University for varsity athletics. The strength and conditioning coordinator must have good communication skills and serve as a liaison between the Spectrum Health medical team and Davenport University coaches. This position will involve developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs, as well as injury prevention programs. The position includes job duties within Spectrum Health and Davenport University. The position reports to a Spectrum Health Manager with dotted line reporting to Davenport University leadership.

Basic Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Science or related field Experience - skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through less than 2 years of relevant experience in the following areas: conducting graded exercise testing, knowledge of cardiovascular physiology, risk factor identification/modification; basic electrocardiogram (EKG) knowledge or completion of an internship in Cardiac Rehab
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) 2+ years collegiate strength and conditioning experience
