Susquehanna University is seeking a full-time Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. Susquehanna is a NCAA Division III institution and is a member of the Landmark Conference and Centennial Conference (football). The primary task of the Head S & C Coach is to develop, implement and monitor weight training and conditioning for 23 varsity sports.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising the Vialonga Performance Center, Jacobs Fitness Center and S & C staff; hire, train and supervise student workers; develop year-round training programs specific to the sports; provide athletes training on proper technique; coordinate team workouts; develop a record-keeping system and track individual progress of SA's; assess data of the training program for each sport; perform routine maintenance of strength and fitness equipment; maintain an orderly and safe environment; become knowledgeable and abide by all NCAA rules/regulations.
Bachelor's degree and NSCA certification required. Master's degree preferred. Two years of experience working in a collegiate strength & conditioning program is required.
