Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Shenandoah University is responsible for administering all aspects of the sport program including: coaching, recruiting, game scheduling and travel, budget management, equipment and inventory, academic monitoring, community service/engagement, and alumni communication. The coach is responsible for promoting an atmosphere for compliance with NCAA DIII, ODAC, and University rules/regulations. Additional secondary responsibilities are assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is a 10-month/full-time position with benefits located on our main campus in Winchester, VA.
A Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of successful collegiate soccer coaching experience, NSCAA B License, and certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a Master’s degree and/or 3 – 5 years of successful collegiate soccer coaching experience.
Note: A pre-employment background check and drug screen will be required as a condition of employment. If driving on University business is a requirement of the position, an acceptable driving record is required as well.
