Old Dominion University, a NCAA Division I member of Conference USA, is accepting applications for the Associate Women’s Tennis Coach (full-time, 12 month) position. This position will report to the Head Women’s Tennis Coach and the primary responsibility will be the enhancement of the women’s tennis program and the instructing and counseling of student-athletes in the women’s tennis program.
Required Education: Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with experience equivalent to that of an advanced degree.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to compliance and NCAA rules. Experience coaching in Division I collegiate tennis or professional tennis teams. Organizational, interpersonal, and oral communications skills. Passport or ability to obtain passport with no international travel restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Division I recruiting both domestic and international. Multi-lingual. Understanding of the international admissions process. Knowledge of team culture and philosophies.
Conditions of Employment: Requires extensive night and weekend work. Travel is required.
