Walsh University is seeking a fulltime Director of Sports information to coordinate publicity for all Walsh athletic events.

Primary Duties: • Working with Director of Media Relations/Game Operations, coordinate publicity for all Walsh athletic events. • Develop and publish media guides for several sports including Football, Volleyball, M&W Basketball. • Generate weekly releases, highlighting Cavs sports and upcoming events on Walsh Athletics webpage • Accumulate statistical data for institutional use, as well as G-MAC and the NCAA. • Coordinate process for reporting scores to media after each event. • Maintain a file on all athletes. • Coordinate audio/video streaming of Walsh home contests on website & weekly coaches interviews. • Serve as co-chairperson of the Wall of Fame Committee to ensure induction of deserving athletes. • Serve as co-chairman of athletic banquet committee, Athlete of Year Awards Ceremony and team banquets. • Coordinated and oversee photo sessions for all Walsh sports teams. • Upon request work with Walsh University Marketing & Admissions Office. Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or the Vice President/Director of Athletics.
