Old Dominion University, a NCAA Division I member of Conference USA, is accepting applications for the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach (full-time, 12 month) position. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, this position is primarily responsible for the management of the women’s volleyball program and instruction and counseling of student-athletes in the program.
Required Education: Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with training and experience equivalent to an advanced degree.
Required Qualifications: Demonstrated success as a volleyball coach with several years of experience at the collegiate or professional level. Ability to organize and manage of all facets of the women’s volleyball program, including but not limited to: recruiting, scouting, individual instruction, budget planning, monitoring the academic progress and success of student-athletes, and general day-to-day volleyball operations. Ability to effectively communicate and engage with all members of the community including donors, alumni, fans, and media.
Conditions Of Employment: Position must travel and work nights and weekends frequently.
