Duties and Responsibilities • Assist the Director of Compliance with oversight and daily operations of NCAA rules and regulations as well as the Great Mid-West Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and Walsh University rules and regulations • Provide rules education to student-athletes, staff, faculty, and boosters • Maintain and update athletic rosters • Assist with monitoring initial, continuing and transfer eligibility • Assist in management of athletic related financial aid and the NLI program • Review and track countable related activities and competitive schedules • Monitor and assist with all recruiting actives • Assist in gathering information for annual NCAA reports • Track and assist with community service activities within the Athletic Department • Participation in university committees as needed • The ability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed • Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance
Established ability on how to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Previous NCAA athletic administration or NCAA coaching experience preferred
Preferred experience working with NCAA applications such as but not limited to LSDBi, Compliance Assistant and the Eligibility Center.
