ROLE of the POSITION
This position reports directly to the Head Women's Tennis Coach and will assist in all aspects of running a successful Division 1 tennis program to include: coaching at team and individual events; supervision of team and individual practices, supervision of racquet stringing and equipment needs, supervision of strength and conditioning program. In addition, position will assist in all compliance matters; community relations activities, and recruitment of student-athletes. UNLV is a member of the Mountain West Conference.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and former experience playing at the Division 1 or professional level. Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary. Experience with recruiting and developing high level student athletes, and working knowledge of all NCAA and MWC rules and regulations preferred.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding. Position is a twelve-month appointment.
