Description:Assist the Head Coach of Track & Field with all areas of the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field program including recruiting, fostering academic, athletic, personal growth and success of student-athletes, meet management and student-athlete welfare. Specifically, the successful candidate will act as the distance coach for track and field distance events and cross-country coach for both men and women. Knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA rules, policies and procedures pertaining to Track and Field. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field preferred. At least 3 years of demonstrated coaching or competitive experience at the collegiate level. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills; strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes; applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working with a diverse student population, community, and athletic department environment; the ability to act as a mentor and leader.
