The Assistant Sports Information Director assists the Colorado School of Mines athletic department in publicizing its 18 NCAA Division II teams. The Assistant Director will be the primary media contact for several sports, coordinating press box and operations for home events as well as content generation for MinesAthletics.com and social media.
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or a related field
Experience in a collegiate athletic communications office, either professionally or as a student
Experience with StatCrew statistical programs
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills (verbal and written) in order to work with a diverse campus community
