Our department is transitioning and we are looking for individuals to join our team who are excited to build with us. Under the direction of new leadership, with increased resources and support, ASC Athletics is moving to expand its footprint in both the USA South Conference and the region. Reporting to the assistant director of athletic compliance and student success, the head soccer coach will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women's soccer program: plans, organizes, and supervises team practices and matches; identifies, evaluates, and recruits student-athletes; and works within the NCAA and USA South Athletic Conference guidelines, complies with federal, state, and local laws, and college, division and department policies and procedures. 1.Provides vision, leadership, and coaching for the women's intercollegiate soccer team.2. Provides leadership through a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes; monitors academic progress and encourages academic success.3.Coordinates all on and off-campus recruitment activities within the guidelines of the NCAA.4.Complies with all NCAA, USA South Athletic Conference, college and department of athletics regulations and policies.5.Schedules, implements, and attends all pre-season, in-season, and post-season practices and contests.6. Provides financial accountability for all ASC and non-ASC soccer functions hosted by the coach/team/department.7.Oversees strength and conditioning for soccer.8.Prepares athletes for competition and performs post-season evaluations.9.Coordinates team travel arrangements.10.Oversees the care and maintenance of team facilities and equipment.11.Supervises graduate assistant and volunteer assistant coaching staff.12. Participates in designated staff functions including job related in-service training.
Education: Undergraduate degree required; masters' degree preferred in related occupational field of study Experience: Minimum two years of work experience at the collegiate level with proven recruiting experience
