The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services. The Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services organizes, implements, facilitates, oversees and evaluates all facets of the Athletic Academic Program. This position works closely with the University Academic Support efforts and provides insight for academic issues surrounding student-athletes. The position also works collaboratively with FAR, academic counselors, faculty, disability support services, psychological and testing services, University Honors and coaches to enhance the academic success of student-athletes. This position will also serve on the senior leadership team and will participate in the development and coordination of programs, policies, and procedures for all sports, and is an ad hoc member of the Athletic Compliance Council.
Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred in a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years in a student services area. Experience with NCAA DII rules is preferred.
