RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for organizing and administrating all phases of a successful NCAA Division II women’s basketball program in the competitive California Collegiate Athletic Association. Responsibilities include planning and conducting daily practice; preparation for competition; preparation and implementation of strength and conditioning program; oversee all aspects of recruiting, including prospect evaluation, database management, and correspondence; scheduling of matches for championship and non-championship segment; providing academic support for current student-athletes; compliance with NCAA, CCAA, and SFSU rules and regulations; fundraising for program and for department; purchasing and budget management; instruction of an intercollegiate athletic class; and other duties as assigned by the athletic director.SALARY: Open
QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree is required, Masters preferred. Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous success within western regional collegiate institutions with a proven track in recruiting and retaining regional students. A working knowledge of NCAA rules is required.
