Job Title: Assistant Softball Coach – Pitching Coach
Assists the head coach in recruiting student athletes, coaching, promoting and managing all phases of a Division I intercollegiate softball team in compliance with all NCAA, Conference USA, and institutional rules and regulations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, assisting head coach in organizing and managing all phases of a division I softball program but not limited to recruiting, team travel, strength and conditioning, student athlete monitoring, match scheduling, budget management, public speaking, community involvement, summer camp instruction, etc.
Organizing and managing all aspects of a Division I Women's Softball Program
Coaching student athletes in preparation for competition and during competitions.
Overseeing and participating in the entire student athlete process while complying with all applicable NCAA, Conference USA and university rules and regulations.
Develop competition schedule and coordinate match contracts.
Assist in budget development and operate Women's Softball program within allocated budget. Oversee all aspects of summer camps and clinics.
Maintain positive public relations with the El Paso community, donors, supporters, and media representatives.
Bachelor's degree and prior collegiate softball and or NCAA Division I softball coaching or playing experience.
