SMSU invites applications for a full-time probationary position of Assistant Athletic Director for Game Environment/Community Engagement/Tickets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: schedule, organize and direct all game management responsibilities for SMSU home athletic events (17 sports) and high school athletic contests with a focus on enhancing game environment and generating revenue for the department; direct and coordinate the overall athletic ticket process working with athletic staff members, Mustang Boosters and season ticket holders. Manage and organize special events within the athletics department and Mustang Booster Club to support fund raising, community engagement and athletic development; lead, organize and hire a student and staff based work force to execute the game management and special events held by the department of athletics; and assist the leadership of the Student-athlete Advisory Committee.
