Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a Head Baseball Coach. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Athletics and will be responsible for providing leadership to the baseball program, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, supervising assistant coaches, scheduling team travel, managing the budget, and purchasing equipment. Candidate must have a commitment to upholding the academic and athletic integrity and mission of the College, compliance with NCAA conference, and College regulations. Other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution; master’s degree preferred. Successful collegiate coaching experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated organizational and management ability. Selected candidate must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
