The Colgate Director of Multimedia and Video Production position is responsible for the creation and effective execution of overall multimedia and video production strategy across all aspects of the athletics department. The successful candidate will be the key department supervisor for multimedia and original video content in support of the athletics department, its 25 athletic programs and its strategic initiatives. The candidate also will oversee game day video streaming and in-game production, graphic design and social media for all streamed sports, while ensuring compliance with outlined Patriot League Network broadcast standards, and oversee video board production and on-demand content. This individual will also oversee the department’s video intern and student assistants. The impact of this position resonates with Colgate Athletics to parents, friends, alumni and fans from around the world.
Duties and responsibilities of the Director of Multimedia and Video Production are: • Create original video content for the Department of Athletics • Oversight of game day video streaming and in-game production • Liaison to the Patriot League Network • Oversight of the use of technology for video streaming purposes • Assist in the Department’s graphic design and social media initiatives • Log, manage, and organize large amounts of video and media
