A successful Collegiate Teaching Fellow will help shift the paradigm for the boys at Baltimore Collegiate. Every Fellow will be responsible for providing TLC – Tutoring, Leadership and Coaching. In the area of tutoring, we expect an ability to assist scholars with math. Leadership and mentoring will take place every day. This includes reviewing report cards over meals, working with families to create scholarly habits, preparing each student for college, and everything else that sets our students up for success. Finally, each Fellow will have the opportunity to coach and lead the after school sports program at BCSB. We offer over 10 sports (lacrosse, baseball, football, rowing, swimming, soccer, track, basketball, etc.).
Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys is a public charter school with outstanding results during its first two years of operation. The school will serve boys in grades 4 -8 for the next School Year starting in August 2017. The Fellows program is affiliated with Americorp and provides a modest salary along with living stipend. The Fellows live in housing near the school.
