Seeking an Experienced Director of Coaching to oversee the day to operations of our organization. We currently have 27 teams and roughly 350 players. We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and outgoing leader for our club.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Annually, create and execute strategic plan for soccer operations for the Club
Ensure Club is operating according to mission, vision and values
Measure programming success; create new development programs as needed
Forecast any foreseeable issues, changes or needs
Oversee and evaluate operations and training for all teams
Supervise any additional Directors and Trainers together and review their performance on an annual basis
Develop, execute and evaluate all Club programs
Create opportunities for all players to play, develop and enjoy the game
Manage all space rental contracts and allocations to teams (e.g., Dome, gyms) with the Director of Administration
Manage all Club coaches
Work to recruit and hire quality coaches and assign to select and competitive teams in sufficient numbers to ensure that all players have quality leadership and training
Mentor coaches and assist with team training as needed/desired
Measure coaches performance through Coach survey, observation
Review performance and compliance with codes of conduct and required player evaluations
Review and inspect together with the coaching director to be sure that all coaches are properly licensed to coach at the level that they are assigned
Foster and manage relationships with other soccer clubs
Manage and staff team formations
Responsible that team formations are impartial and fair to all participants
Decide how many teams the Club will form for each season and work with coach to decide at what leel teams will play at
Facilitate team meetings upon team formation to discuss training expectations, budgets and tournaments.
Approve all final player placements and teams
Serve as a liaison between Club and players and parents during the team formation process
Attend applicable Cal South sponsored events on behalf of the Club.
Serve as a liaison between Club and players, parents and coaches. Mitigate and resolve issues as they arise.
Update the Board of Directors/Executive Directors at monthly meetings on the status of Club operations. Topics include, but are not limited to, status of training programs, team accomplishments, team/coach issues and parent concerns.
