Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Football Coach/Operations.
Primary Job Duties: Coordination of the Offense. Organize and assist recruiting coordinator (through ARMS) with the recruitment of student-athletes to Salisbury University and the football program. Total administrative organization of the pre-season schedule. Develop and instruct student-athletes through day-to-day academic and athletic (offensive) goals and procedures of the University. Assist with the coordination of team travel. Assist head coach with NCAA & NJAC compliance.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Liberal Studies, Business or a related field and 3 years college football coaching experience.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and 4 years college football coaching experience and experience with a triple option offense.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Primary work schedule is will be non-traditional hours to include extensive evening and weekend obligations along with traditional Monday-Friday work schedule.
