Coordinator of Video Services
Towson University is accepting applications for a Coordinator of Video Services. This position coordinates all video services and needs for the athletics department. The Coordinator of Video Services is responsible for hiring student labor to assist with the needs of all 19 sports, but primarily football. Towson University is a Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association.
The Coordinator of Video Services is responsible for capturing and editing game and practice video for football (primary) as well as other sports, using various capturing and editing systems. This position will be required facilitate the hiring of student labor or interns to assist in the completion of his/her duties, as they will be necessary to effectively perform the duties associated with this position. Captures and edits game and practice video for various Towson Athletics programs (secondary), using various capturing and editing systems. Ensures all needs are met during various in season and out of season sports. Creates hype/highlight videos for athletics programs, for internal use only (i.e. pre-game locker room, special events, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience. Ability to capture and edit games and practices for the athletic department using various capturing and editing systems. Familiarity with DVSport, Final Cut Pro, Dragonfly, VLC and/or Xilisof Software preferred.
A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
