Recognized expertise in team sport and coaching principles for student athletes. Successful collegiate coaching, teaching, and/or competing experience in specified sport. Proven ability and experience to conduct camps and/or clinics in specified sport. Strong demonstrated knowledge of sound principles and rules governing specified sport. Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Skill to arrange home contests, ensuring availability of facilities and coordination of venue set-up, officials and game management. Skill to arrange away contests, ensuring coordination of travel rosters, travel advance requests, transportation, food, lodging, equipment, expense and trip reports.
