The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the most historic NCAA Division II athletic association located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colo., with 15 member institutions around the Rocky Mountain region, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Championships and Business Operations. This annual renewable position is full-time.
Job Description: The Director of Championships and Business Operations shall be responsible for – coordination and conduct of all championships including, but not limited to, site administration, sponsorship, promotion, financial reconciliation; all aspects of business operations including, but not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, payment of officials and vendor relationships; regular season scheduling; oversight of coordinators of officials, various coach and administrative committees and the RMAC Network; and other duties as assigned by the Commissioner. This position will require evening and weekend work in addition to substantial seasonal travel during the academic year.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree, at least two years of work in collegiate athletics and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication, public speaking and problem solving skills. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s Degree and at least four years of progressive work in collegiate athletics. Experience in event administration, working with coaches and officials, and remedial accounting including knowledge of QuickBooks.
